Over 12 weeks this year we followed three groups of Irish students to America…for the ultimate J1 Summer. This observational documentary series got an access all areas, front row seat to see what really goes on during these so called ‘’working holidays’. From personal hygiene to personal high jinks nothing was sacred. The series, charts the adventures of four students from Dublin who travel to San Diego, nine from Galway who move to Chicago and five more from Dundalk who journey to live and work in Hawaii. The show targets the 18-30 year old audience, but we think parents might also have a passing interest into what their kids got up to on the J1!
